Summary
Wanilada Rungrassamee completed her doctoral degree in Microbiology from University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA. She currently holds a position as Microarray Lab Head at National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Thailand. Her expertise is in the area of molecular microbiology including gene expression analysis and bacterial detection assays. She has been interested in areas of gut microbiota and their interactions to the animal host, along with development of DNA-based assays for multiplex gene expression analysis as a useful molecular tool for animal health evaluation. Her current research includes examining roles of gut microbiota and their correlation to shrimp health.
