MIRA is involved in hospital and large community based studies on maternal and neonatal health. Founder President of Perinatal Society of Nepal and Past President of Nepal Pediatric Society and a Fellow of several professional bodies in Nepal, India and UK and he is actively involved with WHO. He has received several prestigious national awards.
