Summary

I am part of the Sussex Plan for Honey Bee Health and Well Being at the Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects. I have contributed to several projects mainly on honey bee hygienic behaviour and looking at how flower visiting insects forage on various food plants. I am particularly interested in planting for bees and other pollinators, urban beekeeping and also the dissemination of research results to the public, and in nature education for children.
