Summary
I am an internist, clinical geneticist and molecular geneticist at Medical Genetics Division, the Department of Medicine at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand.
I received my Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in Thailand, residency training in Internal Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Fellowship in Clinical and Molecular Genetics from the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. I also worked at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) focusing on hereditary kidney cancer syndromes during my fellowship at the NHGRI.
I work as an internist, clinical/molecular geneticist and research investigator at the Medical Genetics Division, Department of Medicine, and the Siriraj Center of Research Excellence (SiCORE) in Precision Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. My research interest includes clinical and molecular aspects of Mendelian disorders and hereditary cancers, genetic aspects of various common diseases and conditions unique among Thai population. My current research projects are sudden unexpected death syndrome, adult onset immunodeficiency associated with anti-interferon-gamma antibody and cancer precision medicine.
