@DevenishKatie This highlights the need to ensure robust social, as well as environmental, safeguards for biodiversity offsets (& for carbon offsets too - e.g. our paper: https://t.co/gs1bU2uFP6). Our @Forest4People project is working with the Malagasy govt & conservation NGOs to try to do this
