Assist. Prof. Dr. Heshu Sulaiman Rahman
A scientific medical researcher was born in Sulaimaniyah city, Northern Iraq on September 30, 1977. She completed her primary, secondary, and tertiary schools at the same city. She is graduated from College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sulaimani in 2001 and obtained her Master degree from the same college on 2008 in the field of Microbiology. She obtained her Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on 2014 in the field of Hematology and Clinical Pathology. She granted best Ph.D. thesis at the UPM for the year 2014. Her research areas include the development of alternative treatments (herbal medicine) for biomedical applications and novel nanoparticles development for drug delivery. The nanoZER (WO2014/123406 A1) is one of the products of her research. Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer/Chairwoman at the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS)/Komar University for Science and Technology (KUST). Currently, she is as Assistant Professor at Physiology Department, College of Medicine, University of Sulaimani. She has published more than 110 journals articles, 3 books, 5 book chapters, produced 8 patents, and received 10 awards including Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. Her citation is 2223 based on Google Scholar Citation (https://scholar.google.com.my/citations?user=e77NtyMAAAAJ&hl=en) and she owns more than 300 impact points.
