Professor of Animal Infectious Diseases,College of Veterinary Medicine, South China Agricultural University, China. Ph.D in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from Harbin Veterinary Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences. His research interests focus on the pathogenesis, molecular epidemiology and host innate immune responses of avian influenza viruses in mammals and poultry, and development of new vaccine and diagnostic methods for animal pathogens.
