Nasreldin Elhadi
Summary
Professor Nasreldin Elhadi is a molecular microbiologist with over 15 years’ experience in public health microbiology. He is currently working in Department of Clinical Laboratory Science, College of Applied Medical Sciences, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (Formerly University of Dammam). His research interests to study the mutual relations between the human health and the environment through the analysis (genotyping and molecular characterization, etc.) of bacterial pathogens. His current ongoing research collaboration in pathogenic Vibrio spp, Escherichia coli O157:H7 and other enteric bacterial pathogens with Division of Global Humanosphere, Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) and Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, Japan. Prof. Nasreldin Elhadi on April 2019 was selected by FAO of the United Nations as an expert to serve in Joint FAO of the United Nations/WHO Expert Panels Meeting on Microbiological Risk Assessment on Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Vibrio vulnificus in Seafood in Codex Committee on Food Hygiene under FAO/WHO. Prof. Nasreldin Elhadi has published more than 45 original articles in peer reviewed international journals. Nasreldin Elhadi also supervised over 20 master student theses and served as an external examiner for several number of MSc and PhD theses in Microbiology.
