Summary

I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. I have done my Ph.D. in Botany (Fungal Endophytes) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. I have worked as visiting scientist at the Department of Plant Biology, Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA as Raman Fellow for a year (2016-2017). I have published more than 30 research papers in scientific journals. I have also published 10 book chapters. My broad areas of research include plant microbiomes, endophytes diversity, and ecology, their role in plant development and disease protection. My interest is also to explore the role of seed associated microbes on biotic and abiotic stress tolerance in plants.
