Summary

My research group is involved and participated in a recombinant DNA technology to identify vaccine candidates for veterinary vaccines and diagnostic tools. The predominant topics is characterization of the outer membrane protein H of Pasteurella multocida as the vaccine for Pasteurellosis. Moreover, our group is also interested in development of protozoan vaccines in livestock and companion animals. There are Babesia bovis, Ehrlichia canis. The recent research is focusing on the viral vectored vaccines, particularly using vectors such as adenovirus, herpesvirus and poxviruses, are used widely in veterinary medicine.
