Summary

I am an Ecologist also interested in Conservation Biology and Evolutionary Ecology. I completed a BSc degree in Biology at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (Spain). I defended my minor thesis on pollinator and herbivore interactions with the plant species Gentiana lutea L. which was awarded the Extraordinary Prize of a Bachelor's Degree 2015. I obtained an MSc degree in Biodiversity and Biology Conservation at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Spain), with a master's project about sex allocation and offspring fitness consequences in an Iberian pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca) population. Further, I also collaborated on other research projects at the Doñana Biological Station (EBD-CSIC, Spain), at the CERAS rescue center (Quercus Association, Portugal), and at Regional Environmental Consulting (Galicia, Spain). Now, I am doing my Ph.D. thesis on biodiversity effects on biogeochemical cycles in the EcoPast Lab (GI-1553) at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and working as a researcher at the Mammal Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland).
