Summary
I am a trained physician, with a Ph.D. in molecular biology with more than 15 years of successful virus research experience in the academy. Completed my postdoctoral work at the Microbiology and Tumorbiology Center, Karolinska Institute, Sweden, thereupon, extended my academic experience at Immuno-Virologie Moleculaire et Cellulaire, U.M.R. 30, Faculte de Medicine Alexis Carrel (France) and at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Arizona (USA) studying the regulation of water transport in eye epithelia. From 1999 through 2010 I had worked in AstraZeneca R&D, CNS & Pain Control in Sodertalje (Sweden) where I have led Neuro-inflammation/Neuro-degeneration Team and participated in a number of discoveries and early development projects in neuro-inflammation and neuro-degeneration disease areas. I have a long track record in managing research and development of High Content Screening platforms for phenotypic screening of small molecules and biologics and I am an author of a number of original research articles and patents. In 2010- 2013 I joined ChemDiv in the position of Senior Director of Biology, followed up by VP, Biology at Chemical Diversity Research Institute (CDRI, Moscow, private Drug Discovery & Development Company). From 2012 up to 2018, I was acting as CSO of Bio-business Incubator ( now it is a Life Science Center). From 2012 up to now I am aHead of the Innovative Drugs and Agrobiotechnology Lab at the School of Biological and Medical Physics, MIPT, Russia.
