Jorge Riquelme-Galindo (PhD Candidate, MSc, RN) is a PhD Candidate in the
Research Area of Advanced Dementia Nursing Cares at the University of Alicante. Nowadays he is working as Nursing Coordinator at Intensive Care Unit and Interventional Cardiology in HLA Vistahermosa.
He worked as Study Coordinator in clinical trials at Dermatology Area in Hospital
General de Alicante and Erasmus Mentor of International Students. During his studies,
he obtained one research grant from the University of Alicante and another one from the Spanish Education Ministry both of them associated to Palliare Dementia Project. Jorge has been working actively in European Research Projects such as the ISTEW, Palliare, MATE, Healint, DEMOPHAC and Procare Project and also collaborating with Latin-American Research Projects. His background in funded European Commission Projects has been demonstrated collaborating in specific work packages and intellectual outputs regarding: Delphi Method and Experts’ Consensus, Definition Development, Ethnographic Analysis, Case Studies, Experience Analysis, Gap Analysis and Evaluation Framework Development, as well as Sustainability, Project Dissemination and Exploitation. He also collaborates as a reviewer in different internationally well-known journals. Member of associations such as the Mediterranean Gerontological Association and Network of chronic disease self-management.
