Summary
I am a field ecologist interested in the effects of environmental change on long-distance migratory birds. My research focuses on migration ecology, reproductive strategies, seasonal interactions and individual trade-offs of High Arctic shorebirds, and their consequences for population demography, distribution, and conservation. My research project profits from ongoing collaboration with colleagues in Africa and Europe and an international network of > 2000 volunteers.
