AlaaEddeen M Seufi
Summary
Professor Seufi has a 29-years experience in the field of scientific research. He has many professional memberships in many national and international scientific societies and he participated and organized many scientific conferences and workshops.
He published many research papers in ranked, good-reputation journals with high impact factors. He also acted as a member of the editorial board of some national and international ISI-journals. In addition, he is listed in the list of reviewers in many scientific journals, in STDF projects, and in many universities as well. He occupied many positions as a visiting professor in many universities and research institutes.
He originated a laboratory to work on the production of therapeutics from insects in Egypt. He participated as a member in many scientific projects and he was the principal investigator (PI) of the project entitled: “Production of Antibacterial Peptides from Insects to Improve Human and Animal Health” which was funded by the University of Cairo. In addition he registered a patent at the Egyptian Scientific Academy entitled: “antibiotic from cotton leafworm” at 4/ 11/ 2011. Seufi’s laboratory is ranked from Top-Ten productive laboratories in Cairo University.
He is also certified as Professional Trainer from many Egyptian and International Universities including Cairo, Oxford and South Western Accreditation Councils.
