Summary

Tavan Janvilisri is a professor in the Department of Biochemistry. He received a bachelor degree in Biochemistry and Genetics in 2000 and a master degree in Oncology in 2001 from the University of Nottingham. He earned a doctorate in Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge in 2004 for his studies on the substrate specificities of the human ATP-binding cassette transporters ABCG1 and ABCG2. He joined the faculty at Mahidol in 2005 and started his collaborative work with others. From 2007-2010, he received an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship to conduct research at College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University.
