Summary

I am a biomedical engineer (Politecnico di Milano) with a PhD in Human Physiology (UniversitĂ  degli Studi di Milano).

I am interested in the modelling and simulation of human movement to investigate injury mechanisms and understand human function. I truly believe in the use of predictive models and in silico simulations and their application in clinical settings for improving the monitoring and assessment of musculoskeletal diseases.

My research is focused on the use of an integrated approach that includes in vivo and in vitro experimental methodologies with in silico methods such as musculoskeeltal modelling and finite element analysis.
