Summary
My passion is primate social cognition, problem solving and innovation.
To promote a comparative perspective, I design methods that can be applied to multiple species - both human, and nonhuman, primates - and throughout my career I have been fortunate to work with a number of species including chimpanzees, gorillas, macaques and squirrel monkeys.
Through my current role Lincoln Park Zoo, I design and coordinate the behavioral and cognitive research conducted with our primates and liaise with the Learning Department to share our methods and findings with zoo visitors.
