Deyu Cai, Gender: Male, was born in 1997 in Puyang, Henan province, China, and received his BSc in biotechnology from Northwest Minzu University in 2019. He is a university graduate working toward his master's degree in zootechnical science. His area of expertise is stress physiology and molecular biology in plants. Therefore, the aims of his study were to explore plants respond and adapt to stresses at the physiological and biochemical levels. His work is also aimed at revealing and quantifying the role of specific stress-related genes in plant adaptive responses to salinity and oxidative stress, as well as to understand the signalling cascades mediating plant-environment interactions.
