Summary

Patrick is a Research Fellow within the Queensland Bladder Cancer Initiative (QBCI)/ Queensland University of Technology (QUT) at the Translational Research Institute (TRI). Patrick's research focuses on developing primary tumouroid models of bladder cancer to study responses to chemotherapy and checkpoint inhibition. Furthermore, Patrick's interests are on the characterisation and pre-clinical targeting of cancer-associated long non-coding RNAs and what role they play in tumour progression. Patrick aims to target this “dark matter” to promote beneficial outcomes in cancer patients. He is a proud 8-year supporter of Movember, a campaign for men's health (http://mobro.co/stacheofthomas)
