Summary

I am Head of the African swine fever virus group at The Pirbright Institute, Surrey, UK. My research focuses on African swine fever virus host interactions at the molecular, cellular and animal level. A special interest is in how the virus evades the host immune system and application of this knowledge to vaccine development. I am also interested in mechanisms of African swine fever virus transmission and epidemiology. I am OIE disease expert on African swine fever and an Investigator at the Jenner Institute
