Arnar Pálsson
Summary
Educated at the University of Iceland, where I completed BS. Biology in 1995 and MSc. in Biology in 1998. Studied from 1998-2003 North Carolina State University, and completed a Ph.D. Genetics under the supervision of Greg Gibson. The next 3 years I was a post doc at in the Department of Ecology and Evolution at University of Chicago. My supervisors were Martin Kreitman and Misha Ludwig. After one year stint at Decode Genetics, Department of Population Genomics I started at the University of Iceland as associate professor in 2007. Was promoted to full professor in 2018.
