Summary

I aim to: 1) develop an understanding of the factors that determine the structure and function of biological communities at multiple spatio-temporal scales, 2) develop strategies that facilitate manipulation of microbial communities for environmental and commercial purposes and 3) improve our ability to predict the consequences of environmental change on ecosystem structure, function and stability.
