Summary
I study the microbial dynamics of human-mediated ecosystems. I am interested in the relationship between the microbes of the built environment and the human microbiome as they relate to immunology biomarkers. I am currently collaborating with the Shuar Health and Life History Project which conducts research on the effects of market integration and human health in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
