Enrique Medina-Acosta

Summary

Head of the Molecular Identification and Diagnosis Unit at the UENF, and Research Scientist of the National Research Council (CNPq) of Brazil. He received his Master and PhD degrees in Molecular and Medical Parasitology from the New York University (NYU), NY, USA, and completed post-docs in molecular biology at The Rockefeller University, NY, USA, and NYU. Dr. Medina-Acosta specializes in the development of molecular diagnostics in genetic human diseases and microbial infectious diseases.
