Summary

Born on 16th December 1969 in the suburbs of Kanthi in Purba Midnapur district in West Bengal, Prof. Acharya pursued and obtained his M.Sc. degree in Botany at University of Calcutta with distinction in 1992. He then completed M.Tech in Biotechnology from Jadavpur University (1995) in first class, thereafter pursuing research work entitled “Antithrombotic Effect of Nitric Oxide (NO) / Endothelium Derived Relaxing Factor (EDRF)” for which he was awarded Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 1999.
