Reader in Genetics and Physiology at Imperial College London and Group Leader at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre. Elected to the EMBO YIP programme. My lab is exploring how the gastrointestinal tract senses and responds to nutritional information in order to maintain or perturb homeostasis. We use Drosophila melanogaster to investigate the potential contribution of hundreds of candidate genes to the modulation of nutrient intake and utilization.
