Summary

I am a Project Scientist in the lab of Jonathan Eisen at UC Davis, CA. I received my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington in 2005. My graduate work was in virology, and my first postdoc was studying the Legionella bacteria. My current position melds microbiology, bacterial genomics, and microbial ecology with public outreach, mentoring, and education. I'm a huge fan of microbes, citizen science, and open science.
