Christopher J Sampson
Summary
Chris Sampson is a postgraduate researcher in health economics. He studied BA Economics and MSc Economics & Health Economics at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2011. He is currently studying for a PhD investigating ways of optimising the cost-effectiveness of risk-based screening programmes. Chris's expertise lie primarily in the use of economic evaluation alongside clinical trials. He has worked on numerous studies of this kind, being involved at all stages from conception to completion. Clinical areas in which Chris has experience include depression, stroke and diabetic eye disease. This work has seen him apply a variety of methodologies including decision modelling and meta-analysis.
