The University would like to accelerate the transition to open access publishing. We will therefore cover the costs of Membership Fees and APCs for PeerJ for eligible publications (giving Nottingham University researchers the ability to publish open access articles at PeerJ). For more information on eligibility and applying for costs see: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/library/research/open-access/requesting-oa-funding/funding.aspx.
When a paper is accepted for publication in PeerJ, authors should submit their claim through the PeerJ online system found on this page, which generates a membership request for the University of Nottingham to review. Authors will also need to submit an OA funding application form, the Author’s Accepted Manuscript and the Production Tasks email from PeerJ to email@example.com.
