The Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery Lab at the Department of Endocrinology was established to facilitate discovery of new bioactive small molecule targeting endocrine disorders that can be used as pharmacological tools or preclinical leads. Once identified, we study how these molecules alter protein function and affect biological activities inside cells. Lagos Lab then closely collaborate with medicinal chemists to design new molecules with improved PD and PK profile.
