Summary

Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, 1991. Assistant Professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, from 1986 to 1989. From 1989 to 2017, Professor at the University Federal de Uberlândia. Retired as Full Professor at this University since 2017, working as a Volunteer Researcher since then. Productivity Research Fellow of CNPq (Brazil), from 1993 to 2020, and Visiting Professor at Universidade Federal de Catalão from 2018 to 2020. His research interests cover Organic Photochemistry, Photocatalysis and Quantum Chemistry. Since 1986 has supervised more than 130 students in different formation levels, having published more than 140 research papers.
