Ghufran Ahmad

Ghufran Ahmad's research focuses on microeconomic theory specifically dealing with resource allocation, social choice, and matching problems. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at NUST Business School, Pakistan.

He received his B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan in 2012. After that, he joined Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, USA to pursue his Ph.D. in Economics, completing it in 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Guoqiang Tian and Dr. Vikram Manjunath.

Irfan Ahmad

Dr. Irfan Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in Information and Computer Science department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD in Computer Science from TU Dortmund, Germany in 2017.
Dr. Ahmad's research interests are in the areas of pattern recognition especially in document-image analysis, handwriting recognition, and machine-printed text recognition. In addition, he is also interested in machine learning and its applications including deep learning and natural language processing (NLP).

Bilal Alatas

Prof. Alatas received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Firat University. He works as a Professor of Software Engineering at Firat University and he is the head of same department. He is the founder head of the Computer Engineering Department of Munzur University and Software Engineering Department of Firat University. His research interests include artificial intelligence, data mining, social network analysis, metaheuristic optimization, and machine learning. Dr. Alatas has published over 250 papers in many well-known international journals and proceedings of the refereed conference since 2001. He has been editor of twelve journals five of which are indexed in SCI and reviewer of seventy SCI-indexed journals.

Sara Comai

Prof. Sara Comai is an associate professor within the Department of Electronics and Information at the Politecnico di Milano. She received her Ph.D. in IT and automatic engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2000.

Prof. Comai's research interests include the specification, design and automatic generation of complex Web applications.

Andrea Esuli

Andrea Esuli is a senior researcher of the Italian National Research Council. His research interests are in the fields of multimedia information retrieval, machine learning, and text classification. He holds a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa. He is the recipient of the 2010 Cor Baayen Award, from the European Research Council for Informatics and Mathematics.

Ana G Maguitman

Ana Gabriela Maguitman is a Researcher at the National Council for Science and Technology (CONICET) of Argentina and an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Universidad Nacional del Sur (Argentina). She obtained her PhD in Computer Science at Indiana University (USA). A specialist in data science, he also has an MBA in European consumer law. He is currently a professor and researcher in production engineering at the University of Brasilia (UNB), Brazil. Professor of the Professional Master of Applied Computing in the Department of Computer Science and Collaborating Professor of 6 doctorate programs in Latin America.
Ari is the Director of DataLab at the Production Engineering Course at the University of Brasilia. As a researcher, he works in data science, behavioral big data, bibliometrics, analysis via structural equation models, and text mining. The most related areas of his research are the acceptance and use of technology, consumer behavior, active methodologies, learning styles, Industry 4.0 and 5.0, smart and shared cities, and interculturality.

M Murugappan

Prof. Dr. M. Murugappan is currently a Full Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST), Kuwait. In India, Malaysia, and Kuwait, he taught and conducted research for more than 15 years. Stanford University researchers ranked him in the top 2-percent of scientists worldwide in 2020, 2021, and 2022 for Experimental Psychology, Artificial Intelligence, and Cognitive Neuroscience.

He has authored 70 articles in SCI/SCOPUS journals, 58 conference proceedings, seven book chapters, and edited eight books. Google Scholar records a maximum score of 5654+ citations, along with an H index of 37 and an i10 score of 81 (Ref: Google Scholar). He has been awarded nearly $2.5M for his research by the Malaysian government and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).

Prof. Murugappan is a member of professional international societies such as IEEE, IET, IACSIT, IAENG, IEI and a Charted Engineer (C.Eng). He has given expert talks in Affective Computing, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, and Affective Neuroscience. He is currently the IEEE Kuwait Section's Chair of Educational Activities. Affective Computing, Affective Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, Brain-Computer Interface, Neuromarketing, Neuroeconomics, Medical Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence are his primary interests. He has also guided 14 postgraduate students, 9 Ph.D., and 5 M.Sc.

He is currently an Editorial Board member for PLOS ONE (Q2), Human Centric Information Sciences (Q1), the Journal of Medical Imaging and Health Informatics (Q4), and the International Journal of Cognitive Informatics. Patricio Ramirez-Correa

Patricio Ramirez-Correa is an accomplished Professor at the Catholic University of the North in Chile, with a Ph.D. in Business, an M.Sc. in Marketing, an M.A. in Management, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering. His expertise lies in information technology, specifically in understanding its impact on organizational and individual levels. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Seville and the University of the Bío Bío.

Dr. Ramirez-Correa's research focuses on technology acceptance models and data science, and he has collaborated with researchers worldwide throughout his career. His contributions to the field of information technology are significant, having authored over one hundred papers in international journals, including highly reputable publications such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Computers & Education, Telematics and Informatics, Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, and Industrial Management & Data Systems.

Dr. Ramirez-Correa's experience as an academic editor, guest editor, and reviewer for various journals has further solidified his knowledge and expertise in the field. In 2022, he was recognized by Stanford University as one of the top 2% most-cited researchers, a testament to his commitment to advancing the field of information technology through rigorous research and collaboration with colleagues worldwide.

Joanna Rosak-Szyrocka

Dr. Joanna Rosak-Szyrocka is Erasmus+ coordinator at the Faculty of Management, Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland. She specializes in the fields of digitalization, industry 4.0, society 5.0, IoT, AI, quality management, and quality 4.0.

Kaize Shi

Kaize Shi received his PhDs in computer science and technology from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China in 2022; in computer systems from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), NSW, Australia in 2023. Now he is a Research Fellow at UTS.

His research interests include opinion mining in social media, emergency management, meteorological knowledge service, and artificial intelligence.

He serves as an editor for WCMC and PeerJ Computer Science, a guest editor for IJDSN and WCMC, and a reviewer for IEEE TITS, IEEE TCSS, IEEE IoTJ, etc. He also serves as a program committee member of SIGKDD, ACL, etc. He is a member of the IEEE SMC Society and the Artificial Intelligence Technical Committee of the China Meteorological Service Association.
