Ghufran Ahmad

Ghufran Ahmad's research focuses on microeconomic theory specifically dealing with resource allocation, social choice, and matching problems. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at NUST Business School, Pakistan.

He received his B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan in 2012. After that, he joined Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, USA to pursue his Ph.D. in Economics, completing it in 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Guoqiang Tian and Dr. Vikram Manjunath.

Iftikhar Ahmed

Dr. Ahmed is a Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Germany. His research interests lie in Responsible AI, Explainable AI, and Social Network Analysis. Dr. Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Saarland University, Germany, and a Master's degree in the same field from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany.

Bilal Alatas

Prof. Alatas received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Firat University. He works as a Professor of Software Engineering at Firat University and he is the head of same department. He is the founder head of the Computer Engineering Department of Munzur University and Software Engineering Department of Firat University. His research interests include artificial intelligence, data mining, social network analysis, metaheuristic optimization, and machine learning. Dr. Alatas has published over 250 papers in many well-known international journals and proceedings of the refereed conference since 2001. He has been editor of twelve journals five of which are indexed in SCI and reviewer of seventy SCI-indexed journals.

Jurgita Antucheviciene

Prof Jurgita Antucheviciene, PhD, Professor at the Department of Construction Management and Real Estate at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania. She received her PhD in Civil Engineering in 2005. Her research interests include multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) theory and applications, civil engineering, sustainable development.

Prof. Antucheviciene has over 150 publications in Clarivate Analytic (Web of Science, h=39). She is a member of IEEE SMC, Systems Science and Engineering Technical Committee: Grey Systems and of two EURO Working Groups: Multicriteria Decision Aiding (EWG - MCDA) and Operations Research in Sustainable Development and Civil Engineering (EWG - ORSDCE).

She is also Deputy Editor in Chief of "Journal of Civil Engineering and Management", Associate Editor of "Applied Soft Computing", Editorial Board Member of "Sustainability" and "Buildings", and Guest Editor of several special issues in "Mathematical Problems in Engineering", "Complexity", "Symmetry", "Sustainability", "Information", "Algorithms", "Applied Soft Computing".

Doğan Aydın

Doğan Aydın is a professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Izmir Katip Çelebi University. He is particularly interested in swarm intelligence and optimisation techniques, as well as deep learning and computer vision. He has several publications in high impact journals in related fields.

He holds a PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Ege University and was a visiting researcher at the Artificial Intelligence research laboratory of IRIDIA, Université Libre de Bruxelles for two years. He is currently continuing his academic studies and also provides consultancy services to private sector companies in the field of artificial intelligence.

Wolfgang Banzhaf

Wolfgang Banzhaf is the John R. Koza Chair in Genetic Programming at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University and an Honorary University Research Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He received a "Diplom in Physik" degree in Physics from the LMU Munich and his Dr.rer.nat (PhD) from the Dept. of Physics of the TH Karlsruhe, now KIT. After a postdoc at the U. of Stuttgart, he was a Visiting and Senior Researcher at the Central Research Lab of Mitsubishi Electric in Japan and at MERL in Cambridge, USA. From 1993 to 2003 he was Associate Professor for Applied Computer Science at TU Dortmund.

Mario Luca Bernardi

I received the Laurea degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 2003 and the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering from the University of Sannio in 2007.

Since 2003 I have worked as a researcher in the field of software engineering writing more than 90 papers published in journals and conference proceedings. My main research interests include software maintenance and testing, software reuse, software reverse engineering, and re-engineering, with a particular interest in software modularization.
I also served both as a member of the program and organizing committees of several international conferences, and as a reviewer of papers submitted to some of the main journals and magazines in the field of data and process mining, software engineering, software maintenance, program comprehension, and the application of computational intelligence approaches in the above fields.
Currently, I am an Senior Researcher at University of Sannio, holding the course of "Pervasive Computing".

Siddhartha Bhattacharyya

Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Christ University, Bangalore. He is a co-author of 5 books and the co-editor of 60 books and has more than 300 research publications in international journals and conference proceedings to his credit. He has got two PCTs to his credit. He has been a member of the organizing and technical program committees of several national and international conferences.

His research interests include hybrid intelligence, pattern recognition, multimedia data processing, social networks and quantum computing.

Mehmet Cunkas

Dr. Cunkas is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Selcuk University. Before joining Selcuk University, he served as an electrical field engineer and customer manager at Electricity Distribution Inc. He has authored numerous research publications in international journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, he holds membership on the editorial boards of SCI-indexed journals and serves as a scientific board member at conferences. Dr. Cunkas' research interests include electric machinery, artificial intelligence, optimization theory and computing, load forecasting, and renewable energy.

Peter Denning

Distinguished professor of computer science at Naval Postgraduate School. Past president of ACM. Past editor in chief of Communications of ACM. Currently editor of ACM Ubiquity. Author of ten books, most recent Great Principles of Computing (MIT Press 2015). Author of over four hundred scientific papers and articles.

Massimiliano Fasi

Massimiliano Fasi is a Lecturer in Software Engineering at the School of Computing of the University of Leeds. He obtained a PhD from the University of Manchester in 2019, and has held positions in the UK (University of Manchester and Durham University) and in Sweden (Örebro University).

His research interests include scientific computing, computer arithmetic, and numerical analysis, with particular focus on numerical linear algebra.

Chenghong Gu

Dr Chenghong Gu currently is a Lecturer with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Bath, Bath, UK. Previously, he was EPSRC Research Fellow with the University of Bath. He received the Master’s degree from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007 and PhD degree from the University of Bath, U.K, in 2010, both in electrical engineering. His major research interest is in the multi-vector energy system, smart grid planning and operation, power economics and markets. Dr Gu’s research has been supported by UK funding agency (EPSRC), the industry (NPG, NGC, and WPD), and the UK government (DECC). He now is the Subject Editor IET Smart Grid.
