Summary
I taught Physics at Colorado College for more than 30 years and put a lot of energy into creating the Environmental Science program and then the Environmental Studies major. Currently I study underwater noise in the Salish Sea (Puget Sound and the Georgia Strait) and seek to understand how anthropogenic noise changes the behavior of the endangerd Southern Resident Killer Whales.
