I work as a Principal Investigator at IIO-UABC, responsible of the Laboratorio de Ecología del Desarrollo. My research is in Developmental Biology and Ecology of marine organisms, particularly studying stress response of early stages of development in marine organisms in the context of Global Change (ocean acidification, thermal and oxygen changes in the ocean). During the last years, my laboratory has been involved in research projects including echinoderms and mollusks along the California Current System in Baja California and corals from the Mexican Pacific and the Carribean.
