Summary

DVM, PhD and Researcher at the University of Bologna, he conducted researches in University of Bologna (Avian Pathology), then at the National Institute for Wildlife. He is the head of the Laboratory of Pathogens' Ecology . His research activities are directed to the ecology of diseases, the study of pathocenosis and the identification of mechanisms of ecological interface between species. The investigations are mainly devoted to diseases that have public health implications.
