Summary

I have been involved in medical education since 1990, primarily as an internal medicine clerkship director. Spin offs from this have included: a widely presented workshop on “Teaching in the Ambulatory Setting” which I have presented dozens of times nationally since 2000; and recently the development of a Cloud-based technology (Just In Time) aimed squarely at enhancing the effectiveness of faculty evaluations of a medical trainees’ competence in authentic clinical settings.
