M. A. De Marco is graduated cum laude in Veterinary Medicine, PhD in “Bird, Rabbit and Wildlife Pathology", specialised cum laude in “Poultry Technology and Avian Pathology”. She has 20 year-experience in research activities aimed to study both the impact of pathogens on wildlife conservation/management and the role played by wild fauna in the ecology of emerging pathogens.
