Summary

I am currently a PhD candidate in Genetics in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California, Davis. My primary interests are in population genetics and adaptation in plants. I have recently completed a project examining the role of variation at a domestication locus in natural populations of teosinte, and am currently pursuing a project aimed at understanding evolution and adaptation in Yucca brevifolia (Joshua tree).
