Summary
I am a neuroscientist interested in brain development. In particular, I am interested in using functional neuroimaging (MEG) and electrophysiology (EEG and ERP), behavioral neuroscience approach (eye tracking) to study how the neural connectivity matures underpinning perception and cognition.
I completed Doctor of Medicine in Psychiatry at Zhejiang University in 2013 and finished PhD in Cognitive Science at Macquarie University in 2014. From 2013 to 2014 I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow with Distinguished Professor Stephan Crain and Associate Professor Blake Johnson at Macquarie University on projects using pediatric MEG system to study the development of language processing.
Since 2016, I take up a postdoctoral research fellowship at Macquarie University with Dr. Jon Brock and Associate Professor Paul Sowman. My current projects aim to answer research questions as to how children learn and predict the world through vision and auditory processing. To address these questions I use advanced computational modelling on neuroimaging data (DCM).
