Dr. John D. Loike serves as Director of Special Programs in Columbia University's Center for Bioethics and faculty in the Department of Physiology at Columbia University. His research focuses on the role of immune cells in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. He serves as the course director of Crossroads in Bioethics and Bioethics for Biomedical Engineers at Columbia College. He has over 100 publications in major scientific and bioethical journals.
