Van Giap Do
Summary
Dr. Van Giap Do obtained a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology at the Department of Molecular Biology, College of Natural Science, Jeonbuk National University, Republic of Korea (2017). After obtaining his Ph.D., he did research at the same university as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Biotechnology, College of Environmental and Bioresource Sciences (2018-2019). He has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Apple Research Center, National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, Rural Development Administration (RDA), Republic of Korea since 2019. His main research interests include plant molecular biology in horticultural science and agricultural science with particular reference to the exploitation of molecular cloning and gene expression analysis for the deep study of plant physiology based on novel mechanisms of genetic regulation. For the last 5 years, he has been the co-author of 23 publications and more than 75 conference proceedings. He has reviewed 165 peer review records of 113 manuscripts for 17 SCI journals. He was awarded as an excellent post-doctoral fellow (the 2nd ranking) among more than 40 post-doctoral fellows at the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, RDA in 2022 and 2023 for his achievements in scientific research while working at RDA.
