Ines Krajcar Bronić
Summary
Ines Krajcar Bronić: graduated physics at the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb in 1981, obtained the Master of Science degree in Physics (Atomic and Molecular) in 1987 (Univ. Zagreb) and Doctor of Science (Physics) in 1993 jointly at the Univ. Zagreb and the Ruđer Bošković Institute; employed at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, Zagreb, since 1982; since 2009 Senior scientist, tenure position, since 2016 head of the Laboratory for Low-level radioactivities.
Research interests: 1) interaction of low-energy electrons and photons with gases, study of basic physical data, radiation detection; 2) application of 3H and 14C data and stable isotope content (2H, 13C, 18O) in different research fields: archaeology, geology, ecology; development and optimization of isotope (14C, 3H)measurement techniques.
Special consultant of the IAEA TECDOC799, Report Committee member for two ICRU (International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements) Reports 77 and 90.
Director of the Training Course on Dating Techniques in Archaeometry (IAEA Regional project RER/1/006), Zagreb, 2008, and Regional Training Course on Dating of Cultural Heritage Artefacts using Nuclear Analytical Techniques, Zagreb, 2013 (IAEA RER/0/034).
