Summary

Developed the quantum theory of four-atom reactions.(1994,1997). Developed semiclassical methods for reactive processes in gas an condensed phases (1994-2001). Developed the Structurally Constrained Model of Protein Evolution (SCPE: 2000,2001,2005). Studied the evolutionary conservation/variation of protein dynamics (2006,2008,2012) and developed the Linearly Forced Elastic Network Model of evolutionary divergence of protein structure (2008, 2010, 2020), and dynamics (2012). Developed mechanistic biophysical models to account for variation of evolutionary rates among protein sites (2014, 2015, 2019, 2020).
