I am a microbial ecologist, and my major areas of interest are microbes in different environments including hot springs, polar soils, freshwater and marsh. I am also interested in applying "omics" and bioinformatics approaches on microbial ecology research. I am currently a postdoc research associate at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, US.
