Sven is an ecohydrologist at The University of Queensland. In 2006, he completed a Master of Science in groundwater modelling at the University of Technology Freiberg in Germany. In 2010, he received a PhD in ecohydrological modelling at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Germany. In the same year, The University of Queensland awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship to Sven to undertake research in the field of ecosystem rehabilitation.
