The description of material in the head as "junk" seems too imprecise. I understand this may be what others have called it in the past (or not), maybe now is a good time to coin a more useful term. Perhaps "compression absorbing material" or "compression resistant " or compression deflecting" or maybe even "spongy matter" or "spongalite" or "spongaceti".
