Similar to Chung & Storey 2015?

This seems very similar to the paper "Statistical significance of variables driving systematic variation in high-dimensional data" by Chung & Storey from 2015. Might have been useful to comment on the distinctions and commonalities between the two approaches for PCA significance testing.
