Responder vs. Non-responder
Viewed 39 times

Under Methods/Statistical Analysis - "Patients who experienced an adverse drug event were categorized as “Non-responders”" If a patient responded to the medication well for their primary condition though had an adverse effect, why did you classify them as a "Non-responder"? The risk of adverse effects are widely known in the literature, and physicians weigh the risk-benefit ratio for all medications they prescribe to their patients. Perhaps the benefit of an anti-TNF agent would outweigh the risk of a wound infection, though this article implies that positive response + adverse effect is equal to a non-response.
